Clinic Policies
Financial Policy

We will be happy to discuss our service rates with you at any time. We want you to understand our fees and by satisfied that they are reasonable and equitable.  Payment is due at the time of service.  We will provide a statement to you itemizing services that were rendered.  

Insurance Billing

Financial responsibility for the services rendered rests with the client and/or their family regardless of any insurance coverage.  Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company.  You are responsible for payment, not your insurance company.  You must inform us if you would like our office and therapists to provide documentation for you to submit to your insurance company. If your insurance company requires additional correspondence or documentation it can be provided.  You will be billed an hourly therapy rate by 15 minute increments for any additional reports, progress documentation or additional billing as requested by your insurance provider. We are in the process of seeking affiliation and provider status with a number of insurances in California,  Please speak with our office manager for our most up to date affiliations.

Phone Consultation

Any phone calls that are necessary, including calls to medical doctors, teachers or outside agencies lasting less than 15 minutes are free of charge.  You will be billed an hourly therapy rate by 15 minute increments for any additional time exceeding the initial 15 minutes.

IEP’s

We are happy to attend your child’s IEP if your request can be arranged without interruption of another child’s treatment.  The hourly therapy fee will be billed to you for this service.  

Appointment Policy

We request that your child be symptom free from any illness for at least 24 hours prior to their therapy session.  If your child has been ill with a fever, vomiting or diarrhea please be considerate of other families and our therapists and cancel or reschedule your appointment.  In return we will make every effort to give you 24 hour notice due to therapist illness or reschedule your therapy appointment.  A regularly scheduled appointment that is canceled must have a scheduled make up appointment prior to the end of the same billing month or a staffing rate will be charged for the missed appointment.
